I've made easily over a hundred DVDs using ConvertXToDVD. But now I've got three videos that aren't wanting to work. When I start the process, the progress bar never comes up and the percentage at the top goes up very, very slowly. So slow that I've never seen it go past 0.3%. My resources aren't being bogged down but it's acting like it. What do I do here?

What are those three files? Do they play okay in your players on your computer?
Might be corrupt and need fixing.

The three videos play just fine on my computer. No problem there at all. The only difference between these and the videos that I've burned previously is that these are larger in size. The others were almost always 700MB.

Download Avidemux . Load the AVI, leave audio and video to "copy" and save the video to a new AVI file. Load the new AVI file in Convertx2DVD and see if it works.

Whats best guess as to the original problems with the files? .. broken index or invalid length against keyframes?

I don't know, an incomplete download with a messed up index?
I am not really an expert when it comes to this stuff, most of it I learned to fix/picked up by lurking and trial/error))).
Most times I can try to fix based on symptoms, but not really good at diagnosing, finding the etiology...
