I have been searching the net to try and find any drivers for the Thundering Digital 5.1 soundcard, a few sites say they have links but they are dead. Can anyone help?

Been doing just the same thing (but for Win2K) and got the same results.

The card uses the CMedia CMI 8738 sound chip so any of CMedia's XP drivers will work. Also the Windows Update site has MS drivers that work. However, the CMedia ones don't enable hardware buffering, whilst the MS ones do but with alot of odd effects in the games I have tried them with.

I have finally sorted my one, it turned out to be a IRQ conflict, i disabled the Comm ports and parallel as i use USB and it then worked. This was using the drivers from Microsoft as it seemed to download them.
