I have a series 2 TiVo and can tranfer shows from my TiVo to my PC, but I'm trying to get those file to play on my video MP3 player. I have an Apex MP2000, which I very much love and would hate to have to go with something else. It plays MPEG4, Divx 4/5, Motion JPEG, WMV9, and AVI. I've used Direct Dump Show Utility, but it didn't convert to an acceptable MPEG format. I'd really like one program to go from .tivo to a playable format. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get to convert to AVI? I was waiting for somone to respond to you. I have a problem like yours. I have a Tivo file and I need to import it into Nero Vision to burn a dvd with Menus and such. If you got anywhere or can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

I also need to find a way to burn my files onto DVD. There is a way using tivos software which costs and arm and a leg. I need to be able to burn it in Nero, DVD decrypter or even dvd shrink. Anyone have ideas??

Well here is a solution. It is simple, yet very VERY tedius. Hook a dvd recorder to your tivo. Burn directly to dvd. Load into your PC and edit everything you want. Then reburn. I do it all the time. Just takes forever. I have yet to buy a network adapter, but when I do I am sure I will figure a way to edit those files and burn em. It cant be that hard.. must be converting software somewhere.. google it..

    for example.

    Whats the extention? .TS?

rename to mpeg, then you'll have to demux/mux the audio and video , MPG-VCR & Projectx does this well.
