i have always used tmpeg for my encoding and have had few problems with it untill recently when i open a avi file into tmpeg using the project wizard it opens the avi and the sound and will encode as ususal no problem only the mp2 sound file is blank as when i go to clip frame and you can view the audio its is a straight line i have extracted the audio to wav in virtua dub and encoded that way but i find that sometimes it will go out of sync please help i have installed all codecs i can find and nimo codec pack final 5.0
oh great the nimo codec pack! *severe sarcasm* OK, open your avi in VirtualDUB 1. Click video - Direct Stream Copy 2. Click audio - full processing mode 3. click audio - compression. select no compression pcm and click ok! 4. click file - save as avi! Now try the avi u save with TMPGEnc!
