Hi, im lookin for help with tmpg... ive encoded over 50 files some with problems and most of the answers i can find on this site... heres one i cant find
i wasnt able to open an avi file it said it was unsupported... as was said in other threads i changed environmental settings (vfapi plugins) priority of directshow to 2. The avi file opens properly in tmpg now but when i goto encode it it comes out blocky and distorted- extremely unwatchable. In gspot it says it is a divx-4 video codec and PCM audio... if ne1 can help pls do

Most of these problems can be fixed with the right codec. Gspot is good, but is becoming a little unreliable. I have had a problem like that, except I was trying to encode an xvid file. I downloaded the xvid codec and it worked. You can try that and if it doesn't work, post again.

    Cheers.
