    Hi

I have been reading the comments with interest but still cannot resolve my problem. I had a crash 3 wks ago & had to install anew MB & processor { Nforce4 & athlon3500+} I have also reinstalled xp & still any Xvid's will not work. I have the correct codec's & tried Klite but still cannot convert. Main issue is audio & vidio out of sync..I have converted my avi's to dvd's by winavi & VSOdivxtodvd & still tmpg put's the audio out... Can this be a MB issue, or can any one help with what settings I am not picking up on?

PS AC Filter is installed & working according to TMPG

    Thanks

Download Dvd lab pro and you can adjust the audio to play when you need. Visit the help section on the website to help you do this.

Hi there are a lot of points there. If you are using TMPGenc to author DVD's there is a problem you should be aware of that causes lip sync to be lost and possibly introduce reverbation.

TMPGENC synchronizes to the video (25 fps for PAL). A lot of capture cards synchronize to the audio. If the actual video and audio sampling rate deviate from the nominal rates, this recalibration causes lip synce problems. The inverse of not doing this recalibtation is that you have an out of standard DVD according to TMPGENC. They have no plans to change it would seem.

The solution to use a different product that does not resync. I don't have time now but I will search around for the original article and post it if you like

Thanks for the helps. Strangly since the post I have found if I do not use winavi to convert my files to dvd but use avi2dvd and add these vidio files TMPG is fine & I have a perfect copy to play on my dvd player....Only down side is avi2dvd takes 2 hrs where winavi took 20mins...

As I said at the beginning of my thread it's only seems to have happened since I installed new MB..but I cannot belive the MB would cause this issue..I have no problem with any avi only xvid's so any thoughts would be appreciated.
