tmpge take so long?

    I am new to this and just wondering if it is normal for tmpge to take like 8 hours to convert half of a .avi to .mpg! Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

    1. How long is the .avi clip

    2. This is normally the case. For good quality you have to give good time.
