I'm trying to encode an animation which has been created at 20fps. My main concern is size and performance, so I'd like to encode the file as an MPEG1 and at 20fps. However, TMPGEnc seems to only go down as far as 23.9fps (or whatever it is). Is there a way to make it use 20fps? (or less even).

The Mpeg Format only supports certain Frame rates ..(EG:23.976/24fps,25fps,29.976/30fps,50fps,59.96/60fps)

You would be Best off setting the Frame rate to 30fps which means Tmpgenc will duplicate every second frame to make up to 30fps frame rate....

Files with Irregular Frame rates usually do not turn out very well, You might Notice that the Playback is jumpy in high motion scenes....

    Good Luck
