When I use tmpgenc, I get no audio even when it's processed to wav in goldwave and imported to tmpgenc. Great quality but no sound. With mainconcept, I am able to encode the files properly but lose from 5-10 minutes at the end of the video no matter what size I decompress to. I am converting to dvd. I am a noob to this and not very computer literate and don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks for any help

If you are encodeing to DVD then you do not need to encode the audio if you have a Wav audio file because wav is a Valid format for DVD, But it would be better if you did encode it to either AC3 or Mpeg1 layer 2 audio, but you do not need to encode the audio to MP2 useing Tmpgenc you can use any Program that encodes to Mpeg1 layer 2 at 48000hz..You can use this program to encode the wav audio to Mp2 audio at 48000hz :

Then Import the Mpeg2 video file and the Mpeg1 layer 2 audio file into your DVD authoring Program to make the DVD....Cheers
