Hello. I was wondering if anyone might know the trick to burning content onto dual layer DVDs in TMPGEnc4? I can burn content to single layer DVDs all day long without any problems but if I put a dual layer DVD into the tray then nothing usable will burn (won't play in any of my DVD players, including my PC, and produces 'NO DISC' in the display). When I check Writer settings under Post-output process it recognizes the media and states 'This media disc is writable'. Plus, I know I have the hardware capability to burn readable dual layer discs because I can burn them using ImgBurn. I'm pretty confident it's not a hardware or media issue but I can't afford to keep making dual layer coasters in my troubleshooting efforts so any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Burn the output files using ImgBurn and only use Verbatim brand DVD+R DL disks. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4643
Thank you for the feedback but that's exactly the extra step I am trying to eliminate. I bought TMPGEnc AW4 for the very fact that it does (or is supposed to do) all-in-one processing: convert -> burn -> finished. It works perfectly with single layer DVDs so I'm just trying to find out what the issue(s) might be with dual layer media and if anyone else has encountered this problem. Thanks again.
