Every time I load my video source it says that the .d2v is unsupported or cannot open. I used DVD2AVI to make the .mpq and .d2v files. It still doesn't work. Please help me!

Open TMPGEnc and click option - environmental setting. Click the "vfapi plug-in" tab and look for DVD2AVI project file reader. It should be there. Raise its priority abocve those of the rest by right clicking and clicking higher priority!

Ye i know, thats pretty bad really! The DVD2AVI project file reader should be under the vfapi plug-in in TMPGEnc. Something really small and stupid is just getting by us thats all!

now don't use the one the ripper creates which is usually ts_01.d2v. Find the one dvd2avi created.

I had the same problem and solved it by downloading DVD2SVCD which is a software bundle and contains DVD2AVI. I used that version with TMPGEnc and my .d2v file finally loaded. You can try that :)

ok i think i got it. Can u tell me if these are the right steps? First open the file you want to convert with dvd2avi, then save the project. Then use the .mpq and .d2v files with TMPGENC.

The latest one! You'll find it under the downloads section in this site. Or you can download it from www.tmpgenc.net :)
