I just recently authored my first dvd using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. After I finished it I went to upload it to my other hard drive. I noticed though using dvd decrypter and magic dvd ripper that it was going to take hours to decrypt the backup copy. Would anyone know why it would take so long to decrypt a dvd authored from this program? It doesn't make much sense to me. Any help, as usual, would be appreciated. Thanks

Well it could be that you Burned the Backup copy at too high of a speed and there are errors on the DVD Disk and the DVD ripping Software is Stuck on one of these Errors on the Disk....

Try not useing a DVD Ripping Program and just Copy the Files directly from the DVD-R to your HardDrive.....

Also when you are Burning Video DVD"S it is a Good Idea to allways Burn the Disks at half there Rated Speed so you can avoid Burn errors, so if you are useing 8X Media Burn them at 4X speed and if useing 4X Media Burn them at 2X speed, ect....

    Cheers

Thanks for the help Minion. It is very appreciated. I figured out what the problem was. I burnt it on a bad dvd+rw. I just burnt the same movie again onto a dvd+r and it works great with decrypter now. Thanks again friend
