Can anyone tell me why I lose Closed Captioning when using TMPGEnc DVD Author 3?

When I use TMPGEnc DVD Author v1.6, I never lose the Closed Captioning.
But if I do the same movie on TMPGEnc DVD Author 3, the closed captioning is gone.
Can anyone tell me why and what I can do to fix it?

This is how I add my subs.

After you've performed these steps, simulate. THe movie should play with subs displayed.

I tried to make the movie your way and it didn't work.
When I was transferring it from the DVD-rw to the computer, TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 said there was no subtitle. That was before I even got to the place you showed me a picture of. Even so, I still tried your way when I got to that point and it didn't work.
I no there was closed captioning. I went back to my old TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 and made the disc and it was right there when I put it in my DVD player.
For some reason, the TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 removes the closed captioning.
    Any other suggestions?

I haven't got a clue why it isn't working for you. I've always had success doing it the way I showed you. I don't have version 1.6 so I wouldn't be able to figure out what the dissimilarities are between the two. It's pretty basic really. I just add the video file project, and then proceed to the steps shown on the screen-shots I've provided. It should look something like this:

If you let me e-mail you, I would show you the picture of what I get.
I don't know how to add a picture to the thread,

    It is at the beginning.
    Open TMPGEnc DVD Author3
    Click on Start New Project
    Click on Source Wizard
    Click on DVD, DVD-VR, DVD-RAM
    Click on Add DVD
Click on File to be added

When the screen opens, the title is on the top line
And the line below it says: "There is no subtitles stream in this title"

Even so, I still did what your picture showed.
    No closed caption.

I do nothing to get the closed caption (no subtitles, per say),when
using the older version of TMPGEnc DVD Author. I just open the program.
add the dvd (DVD-RW), create a menu and finish.
When I watch the DVD I created, the closed caption is there.
The closed caption is on screen when you have your closed caption turned on ,on your television.
I don't think it is listed as a subtitle.
Does this explain what is happening?
