I burn my dvd with TMPGEnc DVD Author. But I can only use up, down, left or right buttons on the remote control to navigate through the chapers, not with the number buttons though. I have tried putting all chapters in one track or creating one track for each of the chapters. None works for me. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

Maybe you can merge those video files to one video file first then use the production file create DVD, and you can get the dvd only have one chapter.

I really want to be able to select the chapters with the number button on the remote control. What I would like know is: does TMPGEnc has the capability to do that?

DVD format dose not support use the number key of remote control select the chapter, if you want to use this function you can use VCD format.

Yes, dvd does. I have seen many dvd where I can use number buttons on remote control to select chapters. If I create my dvd with Nero, the number buttons work as well. But the size of the animated menus allowed in Nero are too small. And Nero doesn't give you too many options in controling the output video bitrate.
