    Hi,
When I have downloaded .avi movies when I want to convert them to PAL will I lose any quality if they are being transferred from 23.9fps to 25fps or from 29fps to 25fps? Or is it better to convert them as they are. Also when Nero prompts that these files need to be encoded do I ignore it or let it encode the files?

You shouldn't have to encode the files again if they were already encoded with TMPGEnc!

As for the frame rate question, the quality wont loose too much but it might cause a tiny pause every couple of seconds that you dont usually notice in fast scenes. For a perfect encoding you really would need the Cinema Craft Encoder!
