tmpgenc freezes/trying virtual dub

    I need help.It's driving me mad.
    I did all the changes from avi to mpeg and the audio to wav...put the two files together to split into 3 parts(it's a big movie!!)I sucessfully split part 1 and burned,but i can't get it to work anymore...so i'm trying virtual dub now to split the mpeg video...but i'm not sure if i need special settings like direct stream copy or what...virtualdub is all new to me for video editing...i know all about audio editing....please help PLEASE
    I can't find info anywhere.Thanks chevy

    For some reason, latest TMPGEnc versions tend to have issues with splitting/joining. Look at our article section, we put there a guide how to do these tasks with DV-Tool -- that's free as well and works like a charm.
