Can some one please (without sending me a user guide) just simply type a reply on how I use this program TMPGEnc. Like at the first step on what format I should choose could you please tell me which one i select for turning my AVI's into DVD's and everything else about this program. Thank You!

You want us to type everything about "turning my AVI's into DVD's and everything else about this program"
That would take a long time and a lot of typing!
But seriously, I know you don't want links to guides - but there are simply SO MANY step-by-step walk-through guides for this program on the net that it would be a shame not to use one.
    Try www.dvdrhelp.com or www.doom9.org.

I recommend using TMPGEnc to covnert avi to mpeg2 and then TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert to VOB format. Burn in a VIDEO_TS folder and, hey presto, a DVD
