tmpgenc instructions to convert VHS to VCD

    Hello,
    I just need some instructions how to use properly tmpgenc after having captured my VHS. Can anyone help?

    What have you captured it as?? if avi then just use the TMPGEnc wizard (click file - project wizard) to create a vcd. If you don't know what NTSC is dont worry, all i can say is, create an ntsc vcd if you live in america and if you live in europe or austrailia then use PAL.

    Hi dela, read the above question and have one of my own. When capturing vhs to make a vcd should I capture as avi or mpeg. I use a pass through from vcr--sony dv cam--computer, with pinnacle studio 8. Also is there a better program to capture with? Thanks

    If its uncompressed avi, then no but if you can compress it, use avi!
