Whassup...ur in luck because creating kvcd's is my specialty. Also,i had the same problem and it perplexed me for days.
What is happening is that your audio is not encoding properly, for what ever reason i don't know. Some people say its vbr mp3 streaming that doesnt encode correctly. Anyway, first open up ur original avi file in a program called virtualdub. U could download this program right from this site. From there look under the audio option and put a bullet beside full processing mode. Under the same heading, click conversion. Ur best off choosing 4100 hz. Then, under the file menu, click save wav file. Next, Open Tempgenc back up and choose the proper video file, except for audio, choose the wav file u just created. Continue the normal process and your problems should be solved. If they aren't, keep posting and ill try to help u out.

Hay Ruvard I need help with the settings in Tmpgenc for the kvcd. I download a lot of Kvcd's that are ready to burn but I've have been trying to make my own. The ones I get are always in letterbox format which seem to be the best quality, I'm sure because of the size.(I watch them on my tv). The problem I have is everytime I burn the kvcd to a cd it ends up full screen and bad quality. I've used different templates with different resolutions but they always end up full screen. I did convert a DVD and the quality turned out nice but it ended up being fullscreen and the picture was stretched like a widescreen movie. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
