    Hi

(Using TMPGenc ver 2.521.58.169 core ver 1.98.152)

I have seen various threads saying to install m2v_vfp-0.6.51.lzh and put the m2vconf.exe and m2v.vfp files into the TMPGenc folder which I have done but the problem remains.

    Any further advice appreciated!

    Thanks

    Charlie

The VFAPI plugin would be for MPEG-2 decoding, not encoding. You need to pay for the full version or use a different encoder.

If you're looking for a free MPEG-2 encoder I'd recommend checking out QuEnc (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/quenc.cfm) or HC (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/hc.cfm). As celtic_d said that's a feature you have to pay for eventually in TMPGEnc.

you can use it when you reformat.
how about calendar manipulating ? i know it can be done to fast forward thing.

    anyway, i'm using quenc.
you might want some other tools like dgpulldown, to tag it.
