TMPGEnc problem - keep getting error message.

I copied DVD files using SmartRipper followed by DVD2AVI and then attempted to create an .mpg file so that I could copy the movie to VCD using my CD-RW. When attempting to use TMPGEnc I get the following error message after clicking on the START button: STREAM WRITING ERROR. Any help in the solution to this problem would be much appreciated. have you try using virtual dub frame server???

if no , try open your file in it!!!does it open??
