tmpgenc problem

    when i load an avi file with tmpgenc... it will say that the file cant fit onto the DVD, and even if i bring the frame rate to the lowest it can be, it still wont fit on a dvd... do i have to download any codecs or anything? it started to happen after i downloaded the new ffdshow... but some movies work, some dont... PLEASE HELP

    when i do get it to work, it seems to pause at around 50% as well... somtimes

    i use film machine for avi, its very good

    have you tried divxtodvd yet?

    TMPGEnc has trouble detecting the correct length of some files. It thinks that they are much longer than they really are. If you use the source range setting you can set the last frame to the actual last frame so that it knows the real length.

    its wierd, becuase if i use virtualdubmod to try to demux, it not ac3... it will save as .mp?... i save it as a wav and when i load thar into tmpgenc plus, it will say that the file takes up less than 80% of disc space... but when i try to run it, it freezes up...:( ill try the other programs and see what i can do...
