TMPGEnc Sound Issues

So has anyone actually found out why there isn't any sound, when a VCD has been made? I've been experiencing this problem for a while...I've been trying to convert my .rm file Dragonball Z episodes to a VCD format, and when I try to view the converted files on the computer, there isn't any sound... :-( . I'm sorry, I'm kinda a newb at this stuff, though, it does seem pretty basic. Can anyone help me out here, maybe, in newbie language (easy to understand).
