    Aloha :)
    here is my problem:

when i try to import a dvd-video on my hard disc (in order to create a single mpeg2 file) i get a stream writing error just near the end of the process
this happens only with some video (the ones with the higher duration)
i checked the free space on the program partition (7,9gb) and on the editing partition (29gb)

is there anybody who could help me? thanks in advance
and sorry for my approsimative english ;)

If your computers hard disk drives or partitions are using a FAT 32 file system, there is maximum file size of 4GB. Windows 98/ME uses a FAT 32 file system.

Windows XP/2000/NT can use either a NTFS or FAT 32 file system. A NTFS file system is the recommended file system on computers with Windows XP/2000/NT because it does not have a 4GB file size limit. There are also many other advantages to using a NTFS file system on those computers.

One of the biggest problems when people make a upgrade from Windows 98/ME to Windows XP is they skip the option to convert their drives from FAT32 to NTFS before installing Windows XP.

The only reason to continue to use a FAT32 file system is if you are also running another OS on that computer like Win98-ME or Linux.

Even after installing Windows XP you can convert your FAT 32 drives to NTFS.
Open Help and Support and search for Convert NTFS to get complete directions.
    Example:
Click Start - Run and type.
    Convert C: /FS:NTFS

Before you make the conversion to NTFS.
It is a good idea to both defragment and error check fixing both file system errors and recovery of bad sectors.
Right click on your drive and select Properties and these options are on the Tools tab.
