Hello! I am using TMPGEnc 4.0 Xpress to edit video files. Some days ago I formatted my computer and I reinstalled the program. Now, I noticed that mpeg layer-3 doesnt appear in the audio encode list and i searched for some audio codecs. A screenshot: http://i9.tinypic.com/4m0kux2.png I installed: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPEG_Layer_3_Codec.htm http://www.afreecodec.com/win/7/mpeg-layer-3-elecard/ and lame mp3 http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm Still, it doesn't appear in the list. Am I on the wrong track? I remember having this problem before I installed the program for the first time, but I downloaded and installed *some* codec, i dont remember which, and it suddenly appeared in the encode list. What do you advise?
I followed your advice and uninst/reinstalled the program, but nothing has changed. Mpeg layer-3 still doesn't appear in the encode list
