I had this problem with this movie. There were a few bad frames about 5 min. into the movie that froze the picture but audio kept going. When I converted using TMPGEnc, I selected the source range (move slider back and forth to easily find the bad frames) from begining to a few frames before the bad frames and from a few frames after to the end of the file. then when both parts were encoded I joined them (merge and Cut). Playback was perfect after except for a slight skip were the bad frames were taken out.

Look for avifixed and that should remove the bad frames for you

Tried avi fixed and divfix and they don't always work and you could wind up with out of sync audio. I know my method takes a little more time but not much and it always works.

Another method is simply use nandub to delete the frames!

Thanks Dela I'll give it a try. By the way will deleting video frames with nandub effect the audio?

It may effect the audio, however, when groups release files on the net with an audio sync problem, they issue a fix usually with NANDUB! so it has better audio support than most others :)
