    ok so i got some .avi files i want converted to something i can burn to a dvd but TMPgenc will find the audio but when i browse for the video and click on it, it says...that the .avi file cannot be found or unsupported. The movies does play on the computer since i downloaded the ffdshow please help!

    By default TMPGEnc will open avi files via VfW. Playback is generally done via dshow although TMPGEnc does includes VfW decoding. Just that most stuff is disabled by default.

    Open TMPGEnc, close the wizard. On the main page>Options>Environmental Setting>VFAPI Plugin, raise the priority of Directshow Multimedia File Reader to 2 by rightclicking it and raising. That should fix your unsupported error.
