here it goes. i know how to use the program and i have made several mpegs with it but there are some problems. i have the newest version. the AVI file is about 50 min yet when i use the wizard it says the AVI is 137 min, also the AVI is 400MB and the wizard is sayin its over twice that. ANY HELP?
I had the same problem. Try this it seemed to work for me. In TMPGEnc, click setting, click the advanced tab and look for the source range option, select it and double click source range, then click "move to start frame" and click "set start frame" click "move to end frame" and click " set end frame
i figured to do that but a new problem occured. the audio is not shown or used after the mpeg is created but the ORGINAL AVI has it. thanx for your reply and please post again
i think its because in the properties of the AVI the 48,000 Hz and TMPGEnc is sayin its 41,000 Hz but i dont have the option to change it with the wizard because the option is grayed out and cannot be clicked .....[bold]HELP[/bold]
Check to make sure you have the right settings in TMPGEnc go to Option>Environmental Setting> VFAPI plugin Right mouse click on DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and select Higher Priority. Repeat this until it gets to the top of the list. If this doesn't work try running the file thru virtual dub. 1. open the AVI in VirtualDub 2. click video - direct stream copy 3. click audio - full processing mode 4. click audio - compression. select no compression pcm and click ok! 5. click file - save as AVI, now try the AVI u save with TMPGEnc!
