to burn soundtrack from DVD to a CD

    I have a DVD with the musical "Chess". (Copy protected offcourse) Now I want to burn the music from the DVD to a CD.
    I also want to burn the whole soundtrack from Lord of the Rings into a CD.

    But how do I do that?

    I tried to use Nero to record the whole movie sound as I watched it and that went fine but the quality was not so good. I have to put the volume up very high and then it becomes... hm, dont know the english word for it.... like a wind blowing in the background. Hope you know what I mean.

    I have DVD Decrypter and DVD Schrink and also Nero 6.
