"to play this disc insert into 360 console"

    hi there sorry for being such a noob, ive been given a 360 not sure if its been modded or not but when insert various original and backup games it say to put it into a 360 consoile to play it, the drive is a TS-H945 f/w ms28, everything else on the console seems to work , i can get on live and everything else but it wont read the discs,can it be flashed to solve the problem??????? thanks in advance for any help.

    sounds like you didn't flash your key.
    if you have your drive key, you'll be able to fix it.

    i managed to take the drive out and clean the lense and it seems to work for some games now!!!!!!!,sorry to ask such a dumbass question but i have another 360 which has been flashed with a different drive in it Hitachi LG, but the console has rrod, is it possible to swap the drive to make 1 good console?
