Has anyone else had this "to play this disk, put in an xbox 360 console" white screen come up? I reflashed to ixtreme 1.2 and any game I put in, even originals give me this white screen. Is this because my laser is shot?

I've seen this screen before, but it was from putting in a different console disc.It happened to me on the PS3,and I can't remember what game it was but it gave me that message. The game I rented from my movie store was for the XBox 360 instead of the PS3.I would say it has something to do with reading problems, and it could be a bad flash causing this.Try reflashing with your original firmware to see if this fixes the problem.

It could be his laser, but after seeing he flashed his drive and then the problems started could be from a bad firmware flash.I would try to flash the original firmware and see if this fixes the problem. If it doesn't then yeah it is the laser.

My backups were working fine till I reflashed the firmware hoping to fix that exact problem with some of my games (which ended up being a stealth problem and no the firmware). Once I did all of my backups stopped working but originals played. I figured it had to be a bad flash so I flashed again and same problem. I then flashed back to the original firmware and then flashed it. Once I did that it was back to playing my backups :). So when in doubt flashing back to the original firmware seems to help.

I've flashed back to the orginal and then back to ixtreme 1.2... both me and my friends Orignal firmware are on the same computer.. is there a way I can make sure they are different?
