im using just the old n96 not the 8gb version and i was wondering if anyone had a link or instructions on how to get tom tom onto it and working with the internal gps system....if anyone has had sucess with this that would be great...thanks in advance
Trade secret.. sorry.. I charge for the service so Im not gong to just tell everyone.. A few hints to get you googling along.. I install v6.0.0 in the mac/palmpc series.. You need to activate the maps afterwards.. You still need an external device unless you hack the gps device to output to the internal bluetooth port.. small kernel change to link ports
thanks for the help ... upon goggling i cam across the BINPDA GPS hack... which is supposed to operate on the internal gps.. however it doesn't recognize it when i go to search for it...any recommendations..id have a look into hacking the kernel but i don't know which program i would use to get in...do you have any recommendations ?i don't think visual studio would be able to pick up on it... also i don't know where i would get the Australian maps from...any chance you would have a link... any help is appreciated and thanks for the tip off to begin with
