Does anyone know of a free tool to cut portions of an MP4 video file out? I've ripped some DVDs to play on my Zune HD, and I'm trying to take out some parts (e.g. studio logos, credits) to lower the size slightly, without having to re-rip/encode. I've tried searching the threads as well as Google, but no luck. Sorry if I'm just stupid and missed something right in front of me.
try avidemux, it's what I use to edit mp4's. But if you are going to crop the video, it will have to reencode. If you are just cutting out scenes most times it can cut without reencoding.
