What are the tools needed to solder? Can you use any househlod iteam or do you have to buy something?
You need a soldering iron and solder, go to radio shack and get a 15/30w soldering iron. If you're going to do this, you might want to practice on some junk electronics. you want to be able to melt the solder and join the wire in a matter of 2 seconds or less, if you heat up the IC's too much you can ruin them. Tin is also good to use... But for household item, if u want to solder something that is accessible easily with lighter. But dont use this for GC.
