Whats up people! I just here screaming for help to see if some one hollers back, I have a dell computer dimension 8400 with a combo drive cd/dvd-r rw and i am trying to burn a torrent on to a dvd. So far i have used brand new verbatim dvd r-rw's but it didnt work it just starts the prcess and ejects the discs prompting me to insert a a blank disk into the philips dvd r/rw 9 drive. It also tells me that this error usually occurs if the disk is scratched, it has finger prints on it, or if i need to use a different brand. So with that in mind can someone tell me what brand would work with this philips burner on mu computer?
You need to update the firmware for your dvd burner. The firmware will increase compatibility with different brands of dvd media. The best DVD media are Verbatim, and Taiyo Yuden (beware of fakes.) Office depot has 50 pk of Verb's on sale for 15.99. You cant beat that price for top quality media.
I'm with tocool on this. I read it like you were trying to burn a .torrent file to dvd... Eg... Superman.avi.torrent You can't do that... ;-)
mediaman1 First of all a Torrent CAN NOT be burned directly to a DVD, it has to be "un-Zipped " with something like WINRAR. Only then can you burn it. That is assuming it is in DVD compatible files.....
and what does this have to do with bluray? you might get better help if you would post your question in the right forum?
