I just stumbled across this site. I'm gonna ask that you Google it since I have no idea if it violates any of the forum rules to link it.

Is it legitimate? Is it even worth it- especially if you live in Australia (ie slow/poor connection)?

We had a discussion with them a while ago... while they seem legit I think they may have run into problems with the legality of their proxy.

That's my guess to why we heard no more from them.

I personally tested the application and proxy and it did seem to work, but the one question which they could not answer (after sniffing some packets at another location also using the proxy) was.. Why if it was supposedly so secure did my originating ip packet header appear in each packet handled by the tracker... which still leaves my ip open to interception by any maa/riaa affiliate who wishes to exchange a couple of packets with my machine when the proxy ip is declared in the swarm.

That was greeted with silence.. I don't think they like being asked questions of that nature out in the open... Suffice to say.. we returned after the 1 month to normal p2p methods using the paranoid blocklists and private trackers. The 30-80% speed hit and loss of ratio on private trackers was too much to contend with when added to the cost of the rather easy to break security.

My pleasure.. I don't have the link but I think it was either in the news items or the p2p software.
