Hi all, My son brought the game Black & White 2 to play on our toshiba laptop & after installing the game when you click play it comes up with 'your graphics card does not support Pixel Shader 1.1 or better' & then crashes. I done a bit of looking about & i know that this pixel shader thing is to do with your graphics card & i have seen the quote 'Most modern graphics cards support pixel shader'. This is really annoying when youve not long spent over £700 on the damn machine & it isnt even a year old yet (graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP). I have two questions. 1) is there any way of updating the graphics card to make this type of game run? if not, then 2) how easy/costly is it to upgrade a graphics card on a laptop to stop this happening with this game & newer ones? PS, I have read the other thread on Black & White 2 here at aD, other people seem to be having the same problem, and not just with this game. Any help appreciated!
