I just bought a Toshiba DR-4 DVD recorder for my tv. I bought it for the purpose of recording family videos from a camcorder to DVD (no problem with that) But every time I try to record a movie from a premium channel the DVD recorder says its copywrite protected and it terminates the recording is there anything I can do or can I just not record from those channels like i used tobe able to do with my VCR.
What's the source of your signal? DirectTV, Dish, cable, etc? And how is it connected? RF, audio/video, S-video?
