just recently bought a used toshiba laptop. didn't get any disks or anything with it. the laptop is locked with the old users profile and i can't get passed the fingerprint scan application. is there a way to bypass the fingerprint scan or use an application to curtail it? or is there somewhere i can dwld the boot disk to also bypass? or is there another way to get around the lock? possibly in the bios? please reply asap.
can you get into the bios without using the finger print scanner? what is the make & model# of the toshiba?
Yeah a reformat will be fine. As long as you have the model number the drivers should be easy to find on the Toshiba website.
he used the hiron boot disc to change something alas he cannot remember what exactly but next time we'll document it and post it sorry about the time delay we also run an internet cafe and it gets busy
it's actually my friends laptop which i'm fixing. i should add that i'm not sure whether it gives me the option to enter the bios prior to the fingerprint scan. if i'm unable to get to bios, what can i do then? i'm just trying to cover all bases. i don't have the cpu yet so i can't check.
