I don't have any type of modded xbox. my current xbox is v 1.6 and my broken xbox is 1.1 the question is do i need a softmodded xbox to swap my broken xbox hard drive because the v 1.1 has my xbox live account. and my xbox v1.6 doesn't let me recovery my account it keeps saying something about account can't used at current and i know my account still has a year on it
my v1.0 is broken i mean the dvd drive is wrecked it had a run with the tile floor when it pissed me off in halo2.but i know about live account recovery. ms dashboard would give mw an error unable to access live account at this moment try again later. i just want to add my v1.0 hdd to my unmodded v1.6 but i'm going to softmod it hopefully this makes it easier hdd swap easier.
