Hi I have just installed the ToxicOS v0.41 on my chipped PS2 with DMS4 Pro chip but do not know how to use the integrated cheat device I do not understand how to upload, transfer, import or install the cheats I have an ARMAX EVO with pen drive which has all the cheats on but how do I get them from the pen drive to the cheat menu in the ToxicOS (I have also installed the mass storage reader too thats not a problem).Do I use the browser part of the ToxicOS to pull the cheats from the MC CD HDD or USB how is this done?

I have also installed maxconvert v0.71 for converting the codes but do not know if this will help

    here is my spec:

    Bios Reg: Euro
    Bios Ver: 0190
    Bios Date: 23/06/2003
    DMS4 Hardware Ver: 1.0 Pro
    Toxic Bios Ver: 1.4
    ToxicOS Ver: 0.41
    PS2 Ver: SCPH 5000

In short I am looking for a manual that explains how to grab the cheats and import them to the ToxicOS cheat device and run them.

    Thanks Very Much.

thanks after a good search on the website I found out that to access the cheat menu in ToxicOS I needed to press triangle dumb C**t I am, then all I need to do is copy and paste the cheat code from action replay website to maxconvert_v0_71 make sure I select AR MAX in the Input and select Raw in the Output and choose my region Pal for europe and press convert this then gives me the raw code which I manualy add to the cheat menu in ToxicOS.

    Thanks again

P.S. tell me if I am wrong though?

don't know. Have never done it because i have AR Max and it works fine with my DMS4 Pro
Plus i have started playing more Xbox then PS2 and they have trainers. which are cheats that you download and store on your hard drive in the Xbox. You just enable them and which cheats you want, start the game and away you go. SOOOOOO much easier.

You don't press triangle. Just enter the codes in ToxicOS, select the game and cheats you want to use (it will turn yellow) then run the game off the hdd or DVD.

Yah my ARMAX works fine with my PS2 too but not with burn games which is why I was accessing the cheats in ToxicOS to see if they would run cheats on a burnt disk but alas no. Do you know a way round using ARMAX with burnt disks because I have failed miserably or can you get the ToxicOS cheats to work with burnt disks because when I go to LOAD DISK all I get is CANNOT READ DISK I thought that the DMS4 was suppose to read burnt disks at all ocasions but it does not if you access the ToxicOS screen by holding down R1. So you see my dilema how to get cheats working with burnt games its a bugger.

    SO WHAT TO DO?

    Thanks for they replys

I have the same set up as you do and I don't have any of the problems that you've reported. You might try putting the disk onto the HDD and then try running with cheats. Also, I've noticed that with some that require changing disks, if you manually close the drive the boot rate seems to be higher. Sometimes I forget to turn the Master Code on and then try to start, just check at the start-up screen in ToxicOS, it should display the name of the game for which codes are turned on. By the way, the codes for gameshark and codebreaker cheat devices are both in raw format and available online, the Codemaster-Project boards are also a good resource for codes.
