I have downloaded several TMPGE converters and I still get the message Cannot Open file not supported. What am I doing wrong or is it not compatible with ME?

You're missing some codecs. Does the AVI play with your Windows Media Player?

Try to install DivX codec on your computer -- you can download the latest one from our site.

Yes, you need to convert the AVIs into VCDs in order to play them with your DVD player.

So, you have DivX codecs installed and TMPGEnc still doesn't show the video or says that the video is unsupported?

Does it say is the problem with audio or video? Because I assume it is with audio.
