    Hi SoLiD4iM
    Sounds more media related.
To rule it out switch the cd's you are using - try made in Japan Fuji or Maxell.
Another option is to lower the burn - say if you're burning at 32x drop it done to 24x or lower.

You can also post the failed cd log if you like. They can be found at: program files>ahead>nero>nerohistory. Just be sure to edit out the serial # - usually begins w/ 1A, 1C or 5C.

Ok - we got a bunch of logs and all except the 1st one have your serial # in them. So you need to edit it out (don't need someone else using it)- may just want to edit the post & leave the last log.
It will be under this ====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ====== Serial # is under this too.

I wouldn't consider Ridata/Ritek the best out there - good dvd's but cd's may be another story.
The made in Japan Fuji or Maxell cd's are usually made by Taiyo Yuden - one of the best for cd's & dvd's

From the logs I see you tried different burn speeds and that still didn't help.

There is a firmware update for you drive that may help. The latest is 68JH:

Update says nothing about cd's though but best to keep it up to date.
Roxio & Nero don't always play well. Uninstall Roxio - run the zap tool.

Yeah I didn't think the firmware would help w/ this burn error.
But is good to keep up to date - did add support for some dvd media at least.

Buffer underrun activated is a good thing - it's a protection to stop buffer underruns - which can cause burn failures. It will stop the burn if there are gaps/pauses in the transfer of data to burn.

So that leaves the media. You have these in the logs SCSI_TASTATUS_CHKCOND which usually point to media.
So now it's time to try some different ones.
