My goal is to make DVD-Video discs, however my PVR was set to record in SVCD (480x480, 29.970 fps, 44100Hz CBR 224 kb/s) so for a week I was recording shows like that. When I went to author a disc with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 I wasn't allowed to because of the incompatible stream. So I went to TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 & used the wizard to convert the SVCD to a DVD stream. Ok, that worked, authored the disc, looked at the product, & found out that the audio & video was WAY out of sync. So I tried Sonic My DVD, Roxio DVD Builder & Aurora Media Workshop & I still get the same A/V sync problem. Need more info, just ask. Any suggestions?
It's been a while but I believe that trouble is the audio stream at 44100hz. DVD uses 48000. You need to demux the audio before processing. This is a link that will take you to several links telling you how to do what you want. http://cgi.tripod.com/321ripforum/c...PGEnc_DVDAuthor;action=display;num=1095354126
