As you come from Android, you must have already (knowingly or not) synced all your contacts with Google. Check if this is the case. If yes, simply sync the iphone with your Google account and enable contact sync. (on the iphone go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add account > Google).

Else, export the galaxy contacts to a vCard contact file and import the file to your iPhone. Here's how to do it: How to transfer Android contacts to iPhone.

You should be able do this to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone:

    1) Go to your contacts on the Android, choose import/export > export to storage and save them to 'Phone'

    2) Put your Android into disc-drive mode and connect it to your computer

    3) Copy the .vcf file from your Android (which will appear on your Mac as an external hard drive)

    4) Set-up your mail account on the iPhone

    5) Send that mail account an email with the .vcf file as an attachment

    6) Open the mail, click on the attachment and tap 'Add all contacts'

In addition, Android to iPhone Transfer is also to be a good choice for you.

When I had the same issue I had to save all the contacts to sim card and then inserted it to iPhone and then copied them on the phone and then added the whole info. Guess it was not that smart of me to do that as I can see now. Great tips, will sure take them into account.

Indeed, I'm losing faith in Apple. iTunes 12.2 is bull, iOS 8.4 and Apple Music are incredibly useless. I am also losing faith that there would be something good coming out of the iPhone 6s this September.
