    Hi

I would like to transfer movie's from my JVC GR-D93as to my PC uisng an S-video cable. I have display card Navada Get8force4 MX440 with AGP8X.

I can not seem to get it to view on my PC so that I can copy it.

These are my home movie's that I would like to store on my PC rather than on tape. Can anyone help please?

    Thank you in advance

Is this an 'NVidia' card? - I don't recognize 'Navada' or 'Get8force'.

Do you know if this video card has documented capture capabilities.

It seems the traditional method would be to transfer from the cam to the PC over a USB cable, using capture software on the PC that was supplied with the cam.

Have you tried finalizing the mini-disk in the cam and playing it on the PC?

You would have to find the cards specifications - but I think the S-Video port on the card is for output.
The camera manual would tell you what you need to transfer video to the PC.
If this cam uses mini disks then that would seem the easiest - but since I haven't captured from a camcorder, I can't be sure.
