Transfer MP3 to un-modded XBox through FTP?

    Hey,
    I did some quick searching through the forums and I was wondering if it was possible to transfer mp3 songs from my computer to my un-altered perfectly normal xbox through ftp?

    I set up the IP on my xbox and I hooked the cable to my router and tried to connect but it doesnt detect an ftp when I try to connect to the ip.

    Any info for me?

    You can't ftp to an Xbox that isn't modded or softmodded!

    i thought Mp3's could be transferred using the xbox game Music Maker? from a pc?

    the hard drive is locked to anything connected to the xbox especially a computer,so you thought wrong

    ok you cant FTP an unmodded xbox moddin your xbox makes it a FTP client get xbox music mixer you can send mp3 that way, but the bad thing is no one sells xbox music mixer any more so find it on the net

    We already have Music Maker.You just have to run WIN XP on the computer you are transferring MP3's from and be on a network. Works fine. No wrong thinking here. Instructions are at xbox and microsoft website. MP3's will play on xbox if they are transferred from a PC . But you can't just put put them in on a burned CD ot something. (seems like that would have been too smart and good for the consumer for the aholes at Microcrap I guess.
