transfer of games from on external dd to another

    please help. i have a working external disk drive which i have used on a wii. files where installed on a computer using windows xp. while using wii backup manager to transfer files from one drive to another, it will not work, one drive is not recognized unless i unplug the other one. i am on a computer using windows vista now. please help me out. i have done this many times before but i am not sure what i am doing wrong. thank you very much.

    I personally have never had any luck copying drives
    it takes ages and then dosen't work in the end

    what programs have you had success with?
    and were the drives the the same size (i read somewhere that something about the sector sizes had to be the same for it to work)

    sorry not to help you with your problem but maybe you can point me in the right direction to getting it to work for me

    1) look at transfering the format of the drive to Fat32 - very easy to drag and drop copy the files.

    With WBFS get Wii backup manager this will transfer games from drive to drive and different game formats.

    If you PC is not seeing the two drives when they are plugged in together it is the PC / Drives they both ahve the same ID to the PC - cannot tell them apart so ignores one of them. There is a solution but as I am on XP (does not suffer from this) I suggest you use google foe the solution
