transferring folders to ipod

Is there a way I can transfer my music folders to my ipod without itunes organizing them according to the tagged info with each file, and keep my files organized in folders exactly like they are on my computer.

 

using Rockbox you might be able to, but why not use itunes, is easy that way.

I wanted to do the exact same thing awhile ago and I finally found a different "OS" for iPod. It's called Rockbox but you may not want to try it because it completely changes how you iPod looks and functions. On the plus side, you can give it new themes to change how the background and 'Now Playing' screens look. You organize the music files yourself into the music folder. NOTE: It only supports certain types of iPods.
