Hey guys, I'm new to the forum.

Since my 360 became ill (R.R.O.D. for the 3rd sodding time !!!) I've been tinkering away at my old Xbox which is running Avalaunch.

Is it possible to ftp music files to the xbox to use as custom soundtracks in-game instead of inserting individual CD's and ripping them to the HDD.

If so is there a particular format (I'm assuming .wma) that I need to use.

    Thanks in advance.

nah i dont think so unless you find out how to put it on the original xbox dash because the only easy way to do it would be to burn it onto the xbox hdd using the original xbox dash

Yes its very possible It must be wma like mentioned and it must be placed in E:\tdata\fffe0000\music. I am using something called XBOX Soundtrack Editor v0.97 and its said to place the files exactly where they need to be but for some reason I am having problems with it not being recognized in the MS DASH and during game play that permits the use of custom tracks.

When played in XBMC's file manager they work fine but they dont play in MS DASH, MS DASH recognizes them and displays them but dont play them.

I've been having problems with that program aswell. It either crashes during the transfer process or after transfer the tracks aren't recognised by my xbox.

I've only managed to get it working once.

I tried another program but with the same results.
